Principal's Message

Welcome to Mid-October! As the leaves begin to change and cooler weather sets in, we find ourselves moving forward in an exciting school year. I want to take a moment to celebrate all the progress we’ve made so far and to highlight some important updates and upcoming events.

Academic Progress: Our teachers and students are working hard every day, and I am proud of the dedication I see across all grade levels. October is a great time to check in on progress and celebrate the small victories along the way. 1st Quarter report cards will be mailed out on October 23.

Student Attendance: As we move further into the school year, I want to emphasize how critical it is for students to attend school every day and arrive on time. Consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in a student’s academic success and personal development. Reminder, there will be no school on October 21.

College and Career Readiness: We are excited to offer a series of workshops and guest speakers aimed at preparing our juniors and seniors for life after high school. On October 17 we will be offering the sessions of Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE). This sessions includes key college-going information on financial aid resources, room and board, academic advising, and social-emotional support. Pinnacles will also be hosting a Hartnell College application workshop on Thursday, October 24th during 2nd period. A representative from Hartnell will be assisting and supporting us with this process. We encourage all seniors to take advantage of this opportunity to get personalized guidance on the college application process.

I would like to take a moment to thank our entire school community for your ongoing support. Together, we are creating a positive, inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
